Growing up in Toronto I feel like you have to have picked up a basketball at least once in your life. Playing highschool and rep ball made me want to take basketball more seriously and pursue it as a career. Instead of playing I decided to coach instead which I found out to be fulfilling in its own way. Before I started coaching I wanted to play at the college level but didn't know how to put myself out there and I figured it was a problem with a lot of people. I played with a lot of people whose skills should have been taken to the next level but could not get the exposure which is why I chose to be here at The Maple Minute to put hoopers from Toronto on the map.
