Game: Waterloo Warriors (ON) vs UNB Reds | Thursday, October 8, 2026

Team: Waterloo Warriors

Position: Point guard

Game stats: 13 PTS, 1 REB, 3 3PM

Stefan Prica is a skilled guard whose game is defined by his sharp shooting and great off-ball movement. He is a constant threat from beyond the arc, capable of catching and shooting while also creating his own 3-point shot off the dribble. Prica’s shooting ability makes him a valuable floor spacer, and his relentless relocation to find a better shot opportunity keeps him constantly involved in the offense.

Prica is a streaky shooter, and when he is locked in, he can be the most dangerous perimeter threat on the court. He has a quick first step and great handle, which allows him to get downhill and attack closeouts, where he becomes a creative finisher inside the paint. His footwork is excellent, both as a shooter and when navigating traffic in the lane. He is very smart with the ball, making sound decisions and rarely forcing unnecessary actions.

In transition, Prica is always looking to push the ball on the fast break, using his speed and handle to create early offense for his team. While he is primarily a scoring threat, the next step in his development will be expanding his playmaking responsibilities. He has the tools to become a more willing and effective facilitator, and improving his ability to get his teammates open shots will elevate his overall impact on the game.

Defensively, Prica brings energy and pressure. He uses his quickness to hound opposing ball handlers, causing turnovers and disrupting offensive sets. While he finished the game with just one rebound, his focus on the defensive end is evident in his on-ball pressure and game awareness.

Prica finished the game with 13 points on three 3-pointers, highlighting his scoring potential. He has a strong foundation of skills, highlighted by his shooting, footwork, and basketball IQ. As he continues to develop as a playmaker for others, his game will be even more well-rounded. He is a player to monitor as he takes on more responsibility at this level.
