Six-foot-seven doesn't grow on trees in Winnipeg, and Adam McFarlane's got the frame to prove the province is short on nobody's patience for finding it. The forward earned his way onto Manitoba's 15u provincial roster, the kind of invite that separates "tall kid" from "kid programs start a file on." At this stage the tools are the story -- length and positional size, the raw material a coach can build a forward's toolkit around once the skill work catches up to the frame. There's no highlight reel or box score attached to this one yet, so the verdict stays patient: the size is real, the provincial cosign is real, and the rest gets written over the next couple of seasons.
