Rom logs his reps with 204 Elite, one of Winnipeg's steadiest club programs, which means the fundamentals have had real coaching behind them. He plays with a guard's frame but a scorer's mentality, comfortable putting the ball on the floor and getting downhill rather than settling for the perimeter. Now suiting up at Legacy Prep for his Class of 2028 run, the stage gets bigger — and provincial Player of the Year hardware traditionally travels well. Manitoba hoops don't produce a ton of national noise, but Rom is doing his part to change that.
