Kabongo runs Louis Rial Prep's offense with a guard's patience and a scorer's instinct -- a 6'1 lead ball-handler out of the Gloucester Wolverines pipeline in Ottawa. He gets into the paint on a straight line and has shown he can finish or kick depending on what the defense gives him, the kind of two-way read that keeps possessions clean. Defensively he's disciplined for his age, picking up full-court and rarely gambling out of position. Part of the 2028 class, which means there's time for the frame to fill out and the jumper to catch up to the rest of his game. Ottawa hoops has produced steady guard pipelines before, and Kabongo fits that mold.
