Six-three and he shoots the ball like he's got something to prove every single rep. Jurik's built his game on shot-making — reps on a shooting machine daily, working off side-steps and pump fakes to simulate real game speed — the kind of habit that separates guards who can really shoot from guards who just can. What stands out just as much is what he does when the ball isn't in his hands: he's carved out a role as the energy guy on a loaded Brampton City Prep roster, the kind of two-way motor that got him bumped up from the Provincial squad to the National roster this season. Coaches love him for a reason that has nothing to do with talent — he listens, adjusts, and doesn't get defensive about feedback, which is rarer than it should be at this level. He's not the tallest guy on the floor and he knows it, which is exactly why he plays like he's got something to make up for. Add strength and point guard reps to that shot-making, and Jurik's profile as a complete guard/wing only gets scarier.
