Team Ontario doesn't call up just anybody at 15u — Jaylen Shepherd got the invite, and that tells you where his ceiling sits. Standing 6'3 and running the point for Crestwood Prep, he's got the frame teams love in a lead guard who can eventually guard multiple spots instead of hiding on defense. He's also getting reps with Canada Elite in the UAA, one of the more competitive circuits a young Canadian guard can log minutes in. The provincial nod plus the club pedigree is the kind of double-signal scouts actually trust — it's not one program hyping him up, it's two separate rooms agreeing. Still early in his evaluation, but a 6'3 guard with that resume at this age is exactly the type you circle for a follow-up next season.
