Airdrie's not exactly a pipeline city yet, but Kai Newman might be the one who changes that. He's 6'3 out of St Mary's and already carries a Team Alberta 15u selection, meaning provincial evaluators have had eyes on him and liked the projection. Good size for a young guard, and the kind of measurable that keeps doors open at multiple positions down the line. Game tape and deeper stats aren't in the file yet, so the full read is still coming. For now, the size plus the provincial cosign is enough to keep him on the watch list.
