Calgary keeps churning out guards, and Kohen Deck's the latest to get the provincial nod. Standing 6'1 at St Mary's, he's undersized by some evaluators' measuring stick but makes up ground with a Team Alberta 15u selection and reps in the Genesis 15u program on the EYCL circuit — both real signals of quality development. Size at that number means the game has to be built on skill and quickness rather than length, which is its own evaluation path worth tracking closely. No tape or advanced stats logged yet, so this one stays grounded until more comes in. The club and provincial pedigree alone earn him a second look.
