Liam Mitakaro is a 6'2" point guard from Edmonton, Alberta, playing his prep season at CIA Bella Vista and competing with UPLAYCanada on the EYBL circuit. A 2028 prospect, Mitakaro has quickly become one of the most sought-after young guards in the country, with an offer sheet that already includes Oregon, Arizona State, UCLA, Kansas, Texas, Kentucky, and more than a dozen other high-major programs. His feel for pace and ability to run an offense at a young age have made him a priority target across the sport's biggest conferences. Competing on the EYBL, the top tier of grassroots basketball, has only accelerated his exposure to college coaches nationwide. As his recruitment continues to build, Mitakaro stands out as one of the headline names in the 2028 class.
