Nathanael Osei-Boadru plays like a kid who already knows the scouting report exists before anybody's written it. The Burnaby South guard stands a sturdy 6'2", built more for driving downhill and finishing through contact than living beyond the arc, and he's already banked the kind of provincial cosign that doesn't get handed out for free -- a Team British Columbia 15u roster spot. That's a credential, not a participation trophy: BC's 15u pool is deep, and cracking it means somebody with a clipboard and a stopwatch liked what they saw enough to put a jersey on him. There isn't a highlight reel or box score on file yet to say exactly how that translates into buckets, so the fair read stays patient rather than hyped. Still, a provincial call-up at 15u is usually step one, not the ceiling -- the kind of floor that makes the next few seasons worth tracking before anyone starts throwing comps around.
