Some point guards chase their own numbers; Nicholas Wuthrich chases assists, and that distinction only matters more the higher up the ladder he climbs. The Brampton, ON product is a true, pass-first point guard at Royal Crown, the archetype that keeps everyone else on the floor fed and involved. He's already logging Team Ontario minutes and running with UPlay's 15u group on the EYBL circuit — as good a proving ground as Canadian grassroots hoops offers. At 5'10, he's not winning measurements, but pass-first lead guards have never needed to; vision and pace do the heavy lifting instead. Team Ontario pedigree plus a legitimate feel for setting up teammates is a real foundation for a 2029 guard — the frame will fill in, the reads are already there.
