Shalahn Beckford is a 5'11" point guard from Mississauga, Ontario, playing his prep season at Potters House while running with Austin Rivers Elite on the 16U 3SSB circuit. A member of the 2028 class, Beckford brings a quick, downhill style to the point guard position, using his speed to pressure defenses and create for teammates. His early recruitment has already produced interest from Jacksonville, a sign that his game is translating to the college level despite his size. Playing on the 3SSB platform has put him in direct competition with some of the top young guards in the country. As he continues to add strength and refine his jumper, Beckford's quickness and playmaking give him a clear path to a Division I role.
