My journey in sports began with basketball, where I learned not only the fundamentals of the game but, more importantly, the values of discipline, respect, teamwork, and what it means to be a good person. Those early experiences shaped my perspective on sports and taught me that its impact extends far beyond the court.
From there, I continued to use sports as a platform for personal growth, graduating with a BA Recreation and Sports Business from the University of Waterloo, where I further developed my passion for the intersection of sports, business, and community.
Today, my goal is to use that passion to create opportunities and amplify the voices of athletes who are often overlooked, with a particular focus on the Asian-Canadian community. I believe that representation matters, that every athlete deserves the opportunity to be seen, and that sports can be a powerful vehicle for building connections, breaking barriers, and inspiring the next generation.
